DATABASE ENGINEER
Proven experience in database architecture and database programming for web-based applications, using SQL Server/Oracle. Expected experience is in the range of 6 to 8 years.
Academic Qualifications:
B E/B Tech/M Tech, MSc - Computer Science or Engineering
Required Skills:
- The Senior Database Engineer works either as a team lead or as an individual contributor and brings database engineering expertise to the table, for any new product or a product already in production.
- 5 + years of experience in DB programming for complex web-based high-availability products, using SQL Server/Oracle. .
- Ability to work with the engineering teams and develop logical db model and physical db model, after developing clean understanding about the needed information system and the data flow.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work as a member of a team with minimum supervision.
- Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences in a way that establishes rapport, persuades users, and gains understanding.
- Proven experience on troubleshooting for complex performance issues, related to db programming or other db management related issues.
- Experience with Java environment, is an advantage
